S1: Put to order E8: Insult to injury

Alexander receives threats Notloc Iztoft, The King of the sand, leader of the Para. He warns that their will be consequences since the gold payments from Lucien and the Iztofts have ceased.

The Iztofts come to play games with the citizens, chess, sparring, 21, and war. After some time, a Para mage enters the tavern and curses the citizens, forcing them to play a live game of chess. The chessboard floats to the center of the tavern and resets itself. While fighting the king, and losing it is reveled that the Para Witch was mistaken, and that the land was not taken in the way she had been led to believe. She reveals that assassins have already been sent after Alexander and they will compensate us.

After warning Alexander about the assassins, it is revealed that a bomb as been planted, and the only way to disarm it is to find three catalysts hidden inside the town. The citizens retrieve 2 of 3 of the catalysts before the explosion happens, a large blue mushroom cloud forming over Alexander's keep killing thousands.

Azuna reveals that she his discovered that Donald Snow had found the third catalyst but hid it from the citizens. He is captured and questioned. It is decided by vote to execute him, and shortly after his life is taken.

Lucien's son is discovered to be missing, and during the rescue attempt his dog is killed.

An emissary of Lord Whitetooth, visits to help search for Lucien's son, claiming he had been sent for three days past. They attack the citizens, and are slain.

The Para witch working with the two forest elves manage to resurrect the child's dog, using strange magics.

Talon visits with a white Kobold. Alexander, the merchant, having communed with a tree brings back a creature called a [sapraling] which he named sappy.

Another person apearing to be Tyrian enters the town, and confronts the other Tyrian. Marta and Kaigen determine who is the real Tyrian and the citizens attack the other. The creature is revealed to be an intelligent mimic, which is given the name Flesh as it liked Bones's name.

Sand begins to pour into the tavern, and the herald of the sand visits and asks after the missing gold. He claims he can turn blood into gold. Bones volunteers to go with him, with the promise of some gold, and Talon goes with them for protection.

Bones returns shortly as a skeleton, along with a controlled Talon and the Herald. The citizens fight them off, slaying the herald and returning Bones and Talon to normal.
